Two people play in badminton against each other or two teams of two people. The game takes place on the court, divided by a grid. Opponents are located on opposite sides of the site. In the XIX-th century British officers serving in India carried away by the old Indian game of Pune, which can be considered the prototype of modern badminton. The British brought with them a passion for the game at home.
